Thermal & Mechanical Equipment Company (TMEC) recently started up a fuel gas conditioning system for a new cogeneration plant recently commissioned at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. This gas conditioning system supplies heated and filtered fuel gas to the 30 MW gas turbine generator, which, in turn, provides both electrical power and steam that is used for the cooling and heating needs of the university. Currently, TMEC is supplying similar equipment for another university cogen project that is scheduled for startup in the fourth quarter of 2011.
