A major Houston oil and gas firm has selected Thermal & Mechanical Equipment Company (TMEC) for the supply of amine plate and frame heat exchangers on a major plant project in South America. TMEC Announces Wet Surface Air Cooler Contract

Thermal & Mechanical Equipment Company (TMEC) and Niagara Blower Company have announced a new contract award for a Wet Surface Air Cooler (WSAC) to be used for carbon dioxide (CO2) cooling in a natural gas production facility in Northern Texas. This equipment will be fabricated at Niagara’s facility in Buffalo, New York, and will be shipped to the project site for installation in late 2010.

TMEC Announces Relationship with New Manufacturer, Indeck Power Equipment

Thermal & Mechanical Equipment Company (TMEC) announced today that it will be adding Indeck Power Equipment to its existing product line of heat transfer and process equipment. Indeck is a premier supplier of steam generation equipment, including packaged boilers, waste heat boilers, and water heaters for the power and process industries, with a half-century of leading performance in the industry. TMEC Announces Expanded Relationship with API Heat Transfer

Thermal & Mechanical Equipment Company (TMEC) announced today that it will be expanding its representative & distributor relationship with API Heat Transfer by adding territories for the API – Basco product line of shell & tube heat exchangers, as well as adding the API – Schmidt-Bretten line of plate & frame exchangers in the same areas. TMEC will now represent both the Basco and Schmidt-Bretten product lines in the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Colorado, and New Mexico. TMEC and API Heat Transfer have had a long relationship, as TMEC has represented the industry-leading Basco line of products in Texas since 1997.
